Connect an AI assistant to Najmy

Link ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant to Najmy, and it can look up our tutors, ebooks, and study articles for you inside your chat. Sign in with your Najmy account when asked.

Set it up

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT Apps settings and turn on Developer mode. Read the risk notice shown there. If the switch is missing, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the new plugin dialog.
  3. Type the name “Najmy” and paste the connection address above into the URL field.
  4. Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connection), then click Create.
  5. Turn Najmy on from the chat box, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open the prefilled Claude connector dialog.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the prefilled form doesn’t open, go to Claude’s Connectors page, choose “Add custom connector”, name it Najmy, and paste the address above.
  4. Turn the connector on from the chat box, then ask Claude to use Najmy.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal — that’s the whole setup.

Install command

  1. Run the command above in a terminal.
  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Najmy is connected, signing in if prompted.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Najmy.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant’s connector or MCP server settings.
  2. Create a new remote connection.
  3. Name it Najmy and paste the connection address above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or approval prompts.
  5. Turn the connection on, then ask the assistant to use Najmy.

Refresh after Najmy updates

Assistants remember what Najmy could do when you first connected. After we ship updates, refresh the connection so it picks up the latest.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT’s Plugins page and select Najmy.
  2. Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT can’t change an existing address — if it changed, delete Najmy and set it up again with the address above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Najmy.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select Najmy.
  2. Refresh or update the connector.
  3. Claude can’t change an existing address — if it changed, remove the connector and add it again with the address above.
  4. Ask Claude to use Najmy.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it reloads Najmy on connect.
  2. If the address changed, run claude mcp remove najmy, then run the install command above again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Najmy.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant’s connector settings and select Najmy.
  2. Refresh the connection or reconnect it.
  3. If the address changed, paste the latest one from above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use Najmy.
